Hadley Evans Nash (she/her) is a director, actor, and playwright from the gorgeous hills of Middlebury Vermont. As an avid feminist, Hadley focuses on something she calls Theatre of Joy in the Traumatized Body–theatre that sees those that have been traumatized not merely as victims, but as full humans capable of experiencing deep and revolutionary joy. Hadley holds a BA in Theatre and Women and Gender Studies from Saint Olaf College, and trained at Tennessee Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre Institute, and Shakespeare and Company. Hadley is the Artistic Director and Founder of Brick by Brick Players, a theatre company that always employs at least fifty percent female and non-binary artists. There she has been proud to direct Cymbeline, King Lear, My Dance with Lisa, And Through the Woods, and many other pieces. Hadley has also been proud to work with organizations such as Tennessee Shakespeare Company, Pheonix Arts Nest, Shakespeare Youth Theatre, and Treefort Music Festival.
